A page to share discussion about play and playfulness


Eli Wolff shared a link to Tom Bartlett's How a handful of researchers are trying to save childhood from The Chronicle Review (20 February, 2011).


The article links to the work of the New York Coalition for Play, a nonprofit association that participated in the Ultimate Block Party 2010. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek and Roberta Michnick Golinkoff were involved in the Block Party. Tom Bartlett looks at their work in his article and provides a range of references to discussions about the role of play in learning.
